Review Policy For Fanfiction:
1. You need to fill out an application.
I will not be accepting every single request I receive so you will need to tell me a little about your fanfiction before I make a decision. Here is the application.
2. I do accept multiple requests from the same author.
I do not mind if a single person submits more than one of their fanfictions. This does not mean all of their stories will be accepted.
3. I am going to be honest in my reviews.
I will not sugarcoat things so expect an honest review. Of course I know that most fanfiction is written in a certain way that is different than most regular books, and I acknowledge that. Thus, I will be reviewing based on other fanfictions, not compared to published books.
4. No shady websites.
If your fanfiction is on a shady website then I am sorry but I will not read it.
5. Grammar/Spelling
If you do not take the time to go back and edit your fanfic for grammar/spelling errors then I will not waste time on reading it. A handful of errors are acceptable to me but if I feel that there are too many errors then I am not going to finish your stories.
6. Code
This just tells me that you are reading the guidelines. Enter the word "bookblog" in the comments section of the form. You may also enter actual comments or concerns there.
7. You must have more than 10 chapters (unless it is a one shot or imagine).
Although I understand that there are many great fanfics that have just been started, I am not going to torture myself and my readers with reading and recommending a fanfic that has barely been started. There needs to be a substantial amount to the fanfic. 10 chapters is just a guideline. If you have less than 10 chapters but they are each really long then you may still submit an application. Use your judgement.
8. Do not ask about votes, comments, and such.
I will post a review of your fanfic (as well as a link to it) on my website. Do not ask me to comment or vote. If I enjoy your book then I will do that of my own accord.
