Black Friday is almost here and everybody knows what that means... sales at Barnes and Noble! Being prepared is probably the best thing you can do to insure a health bookhaul, so here's a list of things you may want to consider!
- Coffee. Let's face it, coffee is what keeps us going (especially after staying up reading the previous night). Make sure you have a good dose of caffeine to keep you up and ready to fight for the books you want!
- Have a (mental) list. Yes, things may not always go as planned, but it's still best to go in with an idea of what books you want to get and having back-up plans in case one book doesn't work out. Being organized and knowing what you are looking for will prevent awkwardly trying to look around for good books in-between the catfights. Also, it gives you a higher chance of actually getting the book if you go straight for what you want.
- Have a budget. I know, I know. Whenever we tell ourselves just one book we never come out with just one book but it's still good to have a certain number in mind so that we don't go too overboard with things.
- If you don't get a certain book it's not the end of the world, but only because you can go order it online or request it.
- Try to get some sleep beforehand because we all know how exhausted we will be by the end of this.
- Enjoy! You deserve some down time after going out into the wild and scavenging for those books! Relax and enjoy the enhanced beauty of your bookshelves.
