Booktube. It's probably the best thing ever invented since sliced bread (well, other than books of course). Booktube is a genre of YouTube dedicated to well.... books! I discovered booktube a little over a year ago and ever since then I have been obsessed; it's practically book crack (except a lot better because it's not actually crack). Anyways, it's almost to the point where it's out of control. I'll sit down to work on my trigonometry homework and then, out of the corner of my eye, I'll see my laptop. That's when the temptation comes. I'm able to get through maybe two problems, and then I can't help myself; I reach out to my laptop. Next thing I know I'm binge watching abookutopia (my favourite booktube channel!). Eventually I reason with myself and listen to book shelf tours and book reviews while doing my homework, but until then it's quite the battle. (I try telling myself that if I do my homework and therefore do well in school then I can get a great job and thus buy as many books as I want but for some reason the incentive never works.) Well I hope I didn't scare any of you off from booktube (if you haven't already discovered it for yourself) because it's something that every booklove should experience! I'll leave the links to my two favourite booktube channels down below! Feel free to comment and tell me your favourite booktuber or what you love about book tube! (:
